It was winter and i was going to Voghera, not too far from Milan, by car.
There i would have found the snow….but not on the highway and in the country all around.
Beautiful lands and trees on the flat ground.
I took some pictures and…. working on those i felt like a landscape painter of past centuries.
I tried to give you back that certain light of the country…under a pale sun…..
Do you think it was really quiet like it seemed to be?
Or maybe something was burning under the surface… blow up the upside world….

Nothing is close in my eyes
Nothing can beat me down for your pain or delight, no.

Not one for giving up though not invincible, I know
I’ve givin’ everything I need
I’d give you everything I own
I’d give in if it could at least be ours alone

To blow it to hell and gone
Burrow down and then blow up the outside world
Someone tried to tell me something
Don’t let the world bring you down
Nothing will do me in before I do myself
So save it for your own and the ones you can help
Want to make it understood
Wanting though I never would
